CSS Cause Map is a developer aid. By using it, you agree to these terms.

Diagnostic limits

The extension ranks computed CSS evidence and ancestor constraints. It does not expose a browser engine’s internal causal graph and does not guarantee that the highest-ranked item is the root cause. Confirm findings in your browser before changing production code.

Authorized use

Use CSS Cause Map only on pages and browser sessions you are authorized to inspect. You are responsible for reviewing exported reports before sharing them.

Free edition and Field Kit

The free edition includes live diagnosis, recapture, and HTML/JSON export. Field Kit is a $12 one-time license that adds the local report log and private notes. It is not a subscription. Accessibility, privacy, and core export features are never gated.

Payment and refunds

Sociobot provides hosted checkout and Dodo is merchant of record. Refunds are handled through the checkout provider. A refunded, revoked, expired, or wrong-product license no longer unlocks Field Kit.

Availability and warranty

The software is provided “as is,” without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement, to the maximum extent allowed by law. We may update the extension and these terms.

Open-source license

Source code is available under the MIT License. These product terms govern the hosted site and paid license service; the MIT License governs use of the source code.
